Gli antichi veneti non avevano molti lavori fra cuiscegliere: la maggior parte delle persone diventavano contadini o allevatori.
Questi erano dei lavori molto faticosi ma importantissimi perché permettevano a tutta la comunità di mangiare e vestirsi.
I contadini infatti coltivav ano i cereali con cui si faceva il pane, mentre gliallevatori allevavano soprattutto pecore e mucche, che fornivano lana e latte.
Alcuni allevavano anc he dei cavalli che erano così veloci che vennero persino portati alle Olimpiadi!

Agriculture and farming
The ancient Venetians did not have many jobs to choose among: most people became farmers or breeders. These were very tiring but still very important jobs because they allowed the whole community to eat and get dressed.
The farmers cultivated indeed the cereals to make bread, while the breeders raised mainly sheep and cows, which provided wool and milk.
Some also raised horses, which were so fast they were even taken to the Olympics!br><
