Le case di Altino nel periodo veneto antico erano quasi sempre delle semplici capanne in legno e argilla con una sola stanza.
Avevano al centro un focolare per riscaldare ecucinare, pochi mobili, come tavoli e cassapanche, ed il telaio per preparare le stoffe.
Le più ricche ospitavano anche dei bellissimi troni decorati e delle rastrellier e cui si appendevano i secchielli per il vino.

The House
The houses of Altino in the ancient Venetian period were usually simple wooden and clay huts with only one room.
There were a hearth for heating and cooking in the center, a few pieces of furniture, such as tables and chests, and a loom for weaving.
The richest ones also had beautiful decorated thrones and racks on which the wine buckets were hung.
