Il castello era importante per la difesa del Cadore.
Trovandosi in cima a un’altura, infatti, permetteva di controllare
le vallate circostanti in caso di attacco da parte dei nemici.

A CITADEL IN MACRO HISTORY
The castle was important for the defence of the whole
of the Cadore territory. Being located on the tip of a hill
made it possible to control the surrounding
valleys in the event of an attack.
