Gli antichi abitanti di Altino andavano spesso a caccia.
Partivano dalle loro case armati di arco e freccia e accompagnati dal loro cane da caccia e si recavano nelle paludi intorno alla città.
Qui trovavano molti piccoli animali come lepri, anatre e uccelli, mentre gli animali più grandi come cervi e caprioli erano molto più rari e difficili da catturare.

Hunting
The ancient inhabitants of Altino went hunting often. They left their houses armed with bow and arrows and accompanied by their hunting dog and went to the swamps around the city. Here they found many small animals like hares, ducks and birds, while larger animals such as deer and roe were much rarer and more difficult to catch.
