Le venete antiche indossavano abiti molto più complessi di quelli dei loro mariti e fratelli.
Usavano una tunica in lana lunga fino al polpaccio con una larga cintura in metallo e, a volte, una specie di grembiule.
Mettevano poi uno scialle che copriva anche la testa e delle calzature simili ai nostri stivali.
Le donne più ricche avevano anche bellissimi gioielli come spille, grandi orecchini rotondi, bracciali e collane di vetro  colorato.

Female Clothing
Ancient Venetian women had much more complex clothes than those of their husbands and brothers.
They used a long woolen tunic to the calf with a large metal belt and sometimes a kind of apron.
Then they put on a shawl that covered also their head and shoes similar to our boots.
Wealthier women had also beautiful jewels like brooches, large round earrings, bracelets and nec klaces made of colored glass.
