La donna vestiva una tunica talvolta decorata da riquadri, e uno scialle che copriva la testa ed arrivava alla schiena; completavano l'abbigliamento gli stivali, il grembiule e la cintura in pelle con larga placca metallica sul davanti che poteva avere fogge diverse ed era indice di alta classe sociale. A scialli e mantelli erano appuntate fìbule e spilloni. I capelli potevano essere lisci oppure a treccia, oppure raccolti in uno chignon; gioielli di vario tipo, orecchini, diademi, collane impreziosivano l’acconciatura delle ricche dame paleovenete.

Women wore tunics, sometimes decorated with a plaid motif, and a long shawl to cover their head and back. The outfit was completed by a pair of boots, a sort of apron and a leather belt with a large metal badge of various shapes, depending on the social status. Buckles and pins were fixed to shawls and cloaks. The hair could be straight, braided, or tied in a chignon; various types of jewels, earrings, diadems and necklaces embellished the hairstyle of the rich Paleovenetian ladies.
