Sappiamo dai disegni dell'epoca incisi su bronzo che vi erano personaggi importanti, proprietari terrieri e capi dei villaggi, sacerdoti, commercianti (i vasi in bronzi prodotti dai Veneti erano smerciati anche in paesi lontani), cavalieri, che vestivano riccamente, con tunica e mantello in lana decorato da borchie lucenti e con ampio cappello schiacciato; ai piedi avevano degli stivali ad imbuto in cuoio con punta leggermente all'insù. Sedevano su specie di troni dall'alta spalliera. La gente comune, che lavorava la terra o si dedicava all'artigianato, aveva una semplice tunica dalle maniche lunghe o corte, talvolta completata da una cintura.

The bronze engravings of that epoch (the Venetian bronze vases were sold in distant territories as well) testify that important people such as landowners, priests, merchants, cavaliers used to wear elegant clothes: for example, tunics and cloaks made of wool and decorated with shiny studs as well as big flat hats. They wore leather boots with upwards ends. They seated on a sort of thrones with a high seatback.  The commoners, farmers or artisans, usually wore a simple tunic with long or short sleeves, sometimes combined with a belt.
